More than 300 Marion High School graduates will participate in the 2022 graduation ceremony, set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at Premier Bank Stadium.
Admission to the event is free, and no tickets are required. There are no attendee limitations. For those who are unable to attend the event, the ceremony will also be live-streamed at marionpatriots.com and through the Marion Patriots Mascot Media App.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be delayed or rescheduled for the following day, Friday, May 27, also at the football stadium.
“I have a tremendous amount of pride in the Class of 2022, and I am excited to celebrate their graduation,” said MHS Principal Paul Johnston. “Our students have worked hard over the past several years, overcoming numerous challenges including seeing their entire high school career impacted by a worldwide pandemic. Yet they have all persevered. They have made it. I am happy they will get this public recognition of their accomplishment.”
Approximately 310 graduates will make up the Class of 2022, including 15 early graduates. The graduation ceremony will include an opening speech by a student; remarks from Johnston and Dr. Glen Fenter, superintendent; and the presentation of diplomas by Johnston and members of the Marion School District Board of Directors.
