state basketball

Want to watch Thursday afternoon's Class 5A state basketball final between Marion and Jonesboro in Hot Springs? Here’s the information you need to catch the 1:45 p.m. contest.

All ticket sales for state finals games are online. A block of tickets has been set aside for Marion students, families, staff, and patrons. Those tickets can be purchased at https://gofan.co/app/events/572709.

General public tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday (March 9) and can be purchased at ahsaa.org/tickets. (After tickets go on sale to the public, the school’s ticket link will no longer be valid.)

If you can’t make it to Hot Springs for the game, coverage will be available on AETN public television. Due to an exclusive agreement between the Arkansas Activities Association and AETN, the Marion Patriot Activities Network will not be able to provide livestream coverage.

The game will be aired on Channel 151 with your cable if you have Comcast/XFinity. Additionally, if you visit myarkansaspbs.org/watch, we have been told by AETN that you can watch PBS live on your device or smart TV, as long as you have your location services enabled.

You can also download the Arkansas PBS app for Apple and Android devices to watch on your device. The Arkansas PBS Passport offers extended, on-demand access to a rich library of public television programming for $5 per month. Subscribers to YouTube TV have dedicated live channels for Arkansas PBS and PBS Kids.

To listen on the radio, you can tune into 92.5 FM to hear the live broadcast with David Fogleman and Ken Mitchell.
