Congratulations to the MJHS Quiz Bowl team on a strong showing at last weekend’s 6A-3 Junior High Conference Tournament and on advancing to the 6A Regional Tournament.
Competing on their home campus, MJHS finished fourth overall, finishing behind Searcy, Mountain Home, and Jacksonville. Marion’s Cohen King was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging five solo questions per game. The entire All-Tournament Team is pictured here:

The Marion team will travel to Bryant on Saturday, Feb. 14, to compete in the 6A Regional Tournament.
Looking ahead, Marion High School will host the 6A-3 Senior High Conference Quiz Bowl Tournament on Saturday, March 7, which will be followed by the 6A State Tournament on Saturday, April 11.
In December, the MHS Varsity Quiz Bowl team qualified for the National Tournament, to be held June 12-14 in Birmingham, Ala., after placing 131st out of more than 500 teams in an online qualifier. Marion will send one varsity team and two junior varsity teams to compete at Nationals.
