🏗️🎨 FROM BLUEPRINTS TO BUILDINGS! 🎨🏗️ Our MST scholars are becoming engineers, architects, designers, and builders through an exciting Art + STEM collaboration! ❤️🤍💙 In Art, scholars created their own architectural blueprints. Now, those designs have moved to the STEM Lab, where they’re bringing their ideas to life through hands-on model building! 📐 This week: Layouts & measurements 🏗️ Next: Walls & construction 🛋️ Coming soon: Furniture & finishing touches! Scholars are learning that great designs require creativity, math, planning, problem-solving, collaboration, and a willingness to go back to the drawing board! 🐻🏗️ GUMMY BEAR ENGINEERS AT WORK! 🏗️🐻 Ms. Mitchell’s and Ms. Morgan’s second graders put their engineering skills to the test during an exciting STEM challenge! Using only gummy bears and toothpicks, students designed and built structures strong enough to hold a book! 📚 They worked together to plan, create, test, and improve their designs. 🇺🇸 Tomorrow- Monday, July 27, we’ll celebrate “MST Independence Day!”! ❤️🤍💙 From this point forward, students will walk into the building and to their classrooms independently. Our staff will be stationed throughout the building to greet students, offer encouragement, and lend a helping hand to anyone who needs a little extra support. ❤️🤍💙 To join in the celebration, we invite all students and staff to wear RED, WHITE, and BLUE on Monday as we celebrate this important step in every Patriot’s journey.
