Ms. Taylor Starkey recently conducted a Soil Lab with her RTI students who signed up to support their in-class learning about how soils impact our world by investigating the properties of a local soil. They determined the soil texture class by feel as well as assigned a color value using a soil color book.

This past holiday season MHS Patriot Art Department raised money for the Marion Animal Shelter by painting and selling ornaments and donating 100% of the money. Thank you to all who supported Mrs. Miranda Rippard and the MHS Art Department with this project.

Congratulations to Mrs. Patti Castle for her award as Blood Drive Coordinator of the Year. Mrs. Castle's donation efforts were among the highest in the Tri-State area with enough to potentially save over 160 lives. Big thanks to Mrs. Castle and to all blood donors! Awesome job!
