MJHS hosted a district wide event with ESOL parents. These parents were invited to gather with other parents in the community in the MJHS library. Each parent was given access to student grades and goodies to take home. The staff provided parents with information on other opportunities that would be offered to them through the school district. The ESOL Parent meeting was a SUCCESS!

Any Marion 6th-8th grade student who is interested in trying out for the Jr. High teams which will compete in the NEA Scholastic League for this school year needs to sign up now at the following link: https://forms.gle/1rQppRAUaUWEaEFt7
The parent/player information meeting will be on Oct. 30 in the junior high (8th-9th grade) building cafeteria at 5:30. At that time we will go over all the information pertaining to the free clinic dates, tryout information, the league play dates, tournament information, as well as league cost.

It's fall y'all! This month's "Teacher of the Month" goes to Elaine Dupree. Mrs. Dupree is an original She works diligently to deliver instruction day after day. She does a phenomenal job with maintaining accurate records and communicating with students. Dupree shows her support to students in and out of the classroom by attending multiple sporting events and building rapport. When a student walks in her classroom, they immediately know it is time to get to work. Her commitment to Marion Junior High is undeniable. Please take the time to congratulate Mrs. Dupree.
