Students will have to follow school dress code. They can dress up but we ask that they don’t wear “prom” attire. This is a casual dance.
We are selling tickets during lunch every day this week.
Students MUST wear their student Id to enter. We will not accept any temporary ids.

On Thursday, History Club students explored downtown Marion. Students started by receiving a tour of the Marion Courthouse by our very own Crittenden County Judge, Woody Wheeless. They learned all about our local government and how much happens daily at the courthouse. Also, students recently learned about the Civil War in Arkansas, so exploring the Sultana Disaster Museum was the next stop. These 7th graders learned about the Sultana disaster and how Lincoln's assassination & the capture of John Wilkes Booth overshadowed the local event.

Director of Planning & Operations for the Sultana Disaster Museum, Melody Walker, came and spoke to 7th grade History Club students On Friday. Walker is also a former Arkansas History teacher for the Marion School District. Thanks to her visit, students learned more about the Sultana disaster and plan on visiting the museum next week.
