The 7th and 9th grade Spanish club used fall break to attend the Latin Fest in Memphis.





Students are presenting projects in Mrs. Nash’s World Geography class. Students are learning about the eastern United States and they created a digital travel brochure for an assigned state.

Congratulations to Coach Russell Jones for being inducted into the West Memphis Hall of Fame. He is a Patriot today but he was once a Blue Devil. He attended West Memphis High School from 1985-88, starring in football, basketball and track and field. We are proud to include him as part of our TEAM at MJHS.

Mrs. Hunter’s Honors 8th grade American History students have been working hard on creating a “one pager” over the American Revolution. The students were not only tasked with summarizing the entire war visually, but they also had to strategically plan to maximize the restrictions of the assignment.


Mrs. Brown's Catapults were a huge SUCCESS.

Ms. Smith's science classes are BUILDING catapults. What a fun way to end the week.




Mrs. West's classes have been working hard over the past four weeks to fill the clothing closet and food pantry to compete for KINDNESS points. The classes earned an impressive total of 4,868 points altogether!
There were over 300 pieces of clothing donated and nearly $500 worth of food donated .
