Ms. Pearcy's Spanish classes have been learning about Christmas traditions celebrated in different Spanish-Speaking Countries. The "Tió de Nadal" is a tradition from Catalonia, Spain where children "feed" a log each night for 14 days and on Christmas Eve the children sing a song and hit the log with sticks. Then the log "poops" out presents. The students had a lot of fun learning and participating in this tradition.
