Teacher vs. Student
Officer Richardson is a vital piece of the puzzle at MJHS. He protects, gets to know the students and visits classrooms when he can. Today he stopped in on science to learn about their current projects. He walked around the classroom learning about what animals they are trying to help save on their conservation project to save the endangered animals
Spirit Week/ Teachers vs. Students
We had a little confusion at MJHS on who is the teacher and who is the student!!!!
Lisa O'Neal stopped in to leave some Sweet Treats for the MJHS Staff before Fall Break!!!

These star students get to class on time between each and EVERY bell. We will continue to pick students each week who are not tardy. These students will receive a FREE ticket to a home game. Great job! Keep watching the time and getting to class ON TIME ALL THE TIME!!!

PJ Day
Mr. Barnett's 9th grade physical science is Investigating the Velocity and Acceleration of a Runner.
The MJHS Freshman Class hosted their first annual Grandparents' Day Celebration. Ninth grade students could invite their grandparents to visit with them during the school day. These grands were treated like royalty and the kids loved having their family members stop in and see them today. Football players greeted all grandparents outside and escorted them into the building and the cheerleaders were waiting to cheer on their arrival. Once inside they were treated to snacks, reflections, entertainment, photo booth and more! Thank you to our counselors and other staff members for all of their hard work. A special THANK YOU to all the grandparents that came to make this event a SUCCESS.

👔 Sharp Dressed Men 👔
The Mentoring Young Men Club with Coach Lowery came to school today dressed to impress.
Happy National IT Professionals Day to our favorite IT, Ryan Davis. Ryan is a new dad but this hasn't slowed him down at MJHS. He is always on campus early and ready to tackle any technical issues that MJHS may encounter each day. He is dedicated to his work and he keeps things running behind the scenes and ensures our technological infrastructure is secure. Thank you for all you do!!!!
We also want to thank the entire IT team at Marion School District for all of their hard work. Everyone is always willing to lend a hand. Thank you to our IT TEAM!!
